New 30 TPH Cold Mix Plant Shipped to Kenyan Partner

Earlier this month, our engineering team completed the factory acceptance test (FAT) for a 30 TPH cold mix asphalt production plant destined for Nairobi, Kenya — our largest single-line delivery to date.
The plant was purchased by a leading Kenyan construction materials supplier who identified a growing demand for year-round pothole repair materials across East Africa’s expanding road network.
Plant Specifications
- Capacity: 30 tons per hour (single shift: ~200 tons/day)
- Configuration: 4-bin cold feed, counter-flow dryer, twin-shaft mixer, automatic bagging line
- Products: 3 cold mix grades from a single production line
- Control: Siemens PLC with remote diagnostics capability
- Delivery: 8 × 40’ HC containers

Beyond the Equipment
This project includes our full technology licensing package:
- 5 cold mix formulations adapted for East African aggregate types and climate
- 2-week operator training program for 6 staff members
- QC laboratory setup with equipment, SOPs, and certification support
- 12-month remote technical support with quarterly performance reviews
Growing African Demand
Infrastructure investment across Africa is driving demand for road maintenance materials. The African Development Bank estimates that the continent requires $130–170 billion annually for infrastructure development. Cold mix asphalt — with its low equipment barrier and year-round usability — is uniquely suited to this market.
We expect to deliver 3–4 additional plants to the region over the next 18 months.
